The Big Red Button is a personal safety app built for real estate agents doing solo showings and open houses. It lives as a shortcut on your phone’s home screen. With one tap, it can call the contacts you’ve set up in your”Call List” in the app. The automated call would  repeat your location three times.

At the same time, it would trigger a loud alert “back-him-up” alert on your phone. 99% of the time, this announcement would panic the would-be attacker into immediately exiting the location.

It’s built with solo showings and open houses in mind, since those are when agents are most often alone with strangers — but it works for any situation where an agent needs a fast, one-tap way to call for help.
Yes. Before using the app for the first time, log in and click on “Call List”. This is where you set up three contacts that the app would call if you ever need them to call 911 on your behalf. We HIGHLY recommend that you have a conversation with each contact, letting them know what to do if the system ever calls them.
Before every appointment, showing, or open house, log in to the app… click on “Appointments”, and log that meeting. (The prospect’s name, phone, address, and the time of the appointment. ) That information will be inserted into the call your contacts would receive if/when you tap the button during an emergency. 

Important!  The ONLY way the app knows where you are is the fact that you logged THAT appointment into your “Appointments” in the app.
